If you love being outside, Monsey and Rockland County has plenty of parks and mountains for you to explore. In Monsey, Willow Tree Park features running and jogging paths. Bockar Lake is located right in the center of the park and offers ice skating during the winter, and fishing during the summer.  For horse lovers, Rockland County has many different stables that offer horseback riding lessons and horse shows.
