Reported by nj.com as the third most affluent town in New Jersey, it also boasts schools that rank 34 percent over the national average. While it is technically located in Ramsey, it is adjacent to The Commons luxury apartment complex. “Uncle G’s” is an Italian market offering quality meats, produce, and foods used in traditional Italian cooking. At Uncle G’s, you can stock up for dinners or any special event. Their food court offers a great place to stop in for lunch and a top-notch espresso bar where you can grab a cup of coffee. For a special treat, enjoy a fresh filled cannoli at their bakery, which offers a variety of pastries, cakes, cookies and breads.

For a sit-down restaurant, Elmer’s Country Store serves up lunch staples like sandwiches, subs, wraps, and salads.

Lions Memorial Park, located on the west bank of the Saddle River, is the local recreation area where you can stretch out your legs and take a nice jog, walk, or run. The field holds seasonal baseball, soccer, and cross-country events. Every summer, the park hosts the Lion’s carnival.
